Suffering at work isn't inevitable.

Work can be a source of fulfilment, yet still become a place of suffering: stress, burnout, harassment. If you're here, something has shifted: a tiredness that rest no longer fixes, the feeling of no longer belonging.

I help professionals move through difficult periods, understand what happened, and find their way back to a path that's truly theirs.

Stress, burnout and work-related distress

You don't need to have reached burnout to consult: professional stress, on its own, is reason enough.

You may have reached a point where you no longer recognise yourself, or you're still holding on, in the thick of it. We don't stop at understanding what brought you here: the goal isn't to "get back to work" or to "not break down," but to get out of it, to find energy again, clarity, and a relationship with yourself that is truly yours again.

Workplace harassment and trauma

Harassment, humiliation, a sudden rupture… some experiences leave traces that go beyond ordinary stress: replaying events, doubting your own perception, carrying a shame that isn't yours. These are recognised responses to psychological violence at work, not personal fragility.

I offer a dedicated space for employees who have been through moral or sexual harassment, institutional violence, or traumatic events to rebuild stable inner ground.

Not sure yet what you need?

Sometimes something feels off, without being able to say exactly what: a persistent unease, a tiredness that won't shift, no obvious cause.

I offer assessment consultations, one-off or over a few sessions, to see things more clearly together. Sometimes that's enough. Other times, it opens onto deeper work, or a referral to another professional.

You don't need to know what you're looking for in order to consult.

I am an English-speaking work psychologist — also known as an occupational psychologist or workplace psychologist — based in Toulouse, specialising in psychosocial risks, stress, burnout, workplace harassment, and professional trauma. My work sits at the intersection of individual psychology and organisational dynamics: what happens to people at work is rarely only personal.

British by birth, I have lived and worked in France for fifty years. I've worked with employees across a wide range of sectors, from large companies to small local associations. Outside of work, I'm a mother of three, and I find my breath again in music, between singing and percussion.

I also work with organisations and HR teams on psychosocial risk prevention and diagnosis. Find out more →

My approach is grounded in a conviction: suffering at work is rarely only individual, fatigue, self-doubt, a sense of failure are often the traces of dysfunctional systems.

This doesn't mean your experience isn't personal: my attention is on both at once, your inner world and the impact the world of work can have on it.

This dual reading isn't just a theoretical stance: I also work with organisations on psychosocial risk prevention, which feeds a concrete understanding of what can wear a person down at work.

I draw on several complementary approaches: strategic brief interventions, Ericksonian hypnosis, psychodynamic frameworks, depending on what makes sense for you.

My way of working

My style is fairly direct: in session, I talk, I ask questions, I share what I observe. I don't wait in silence for everything to emerge from you alone. We move forward together, and I adapt to who you are rather than to a fixed protocol.

This way of working also comes from the field: I worked as a psychologist inside organisations themselves, which feeds my understanding of the world of work as much as theory does. I believe as much in concrete solutions as in understanding deep motivations. Together, we look for quick relief without losing sight of deeper, lasting change.

People often tell me there's something grounded and warm about my presence, but I'm never trying to become indispensable: I'm looking to help you become autonomous.

If you'd like to find out whether working together might be right for you, the first step can be a brief 20 min introductory call, free of charge, with no commitment. It's a chance for both of us to make contact, for me to hear what brings you here, and to see whether what I offer fits what you're looking for.

All sessions can take place in person in Toulouse or online, depending on your preference.
